anniversary card

This card i have made for my mum and dads 52nd  wedding anniversary. They both like birds having bred canaries and budgies, they both also love owls. This is a great image by Mo Manning called Owl Moon. I have colored with a mixture of graphit markers and promarkers. I would have used all graphit markers but i only have 2 browns so far in the pens i have. The edges are distressed with broken china distress ink by tim holtz.  The backing papers are out of a pack called red velvet by hot off the press, the border and the flower bits were all in the same set. Finished off with a bit of glitter on the branch and their blanket.

    love the owls my daughter has loads of owl stuff -and I have also bred canaries(like my grandad) and budgies and finches lol -I love the B.papers and the dies you have used
