anniversary card

This card i have made for my mum and dads 52nd  wedding anniversary. They both like birds having bred canaries and budgies, they both also love owls. This is a great image by Mo Manning called Owl Moon. I have colored with a mixture of graphit markers and promarkers. I would have used all graphit markers but i only have 2 browns so far in the pens i have. The edges are distressed with broken china distress ink by tim holtz.  The backing papers are out of a pack called red velvet by hot off the press, the border and the flower bits were all in the same set. Finished off with a bit of glitter on the branch and their blanket.

GDT post for Lexis creations

I was delighted to be chosen as guest designer over at Lexis creations and the theme this time is anything goes. I chose the image Chrissie which can be found at Fairy Dust Crafts. I have colored her with promarkers and graphit markers. The striped backing paper was free with a magazine. The card is by craftwork cards as are the sentiments. I have used funky fibers which i forgot i had and a bow from dovecrafts cupcake's boutique, the banner was from a set by do craftts tea for two. Pearls from hobbycrafts. The deep pink card is by core dinations range from the tim holtz and Ranger collection.

The image is by Bugaboo. Backing papers out of a magazine, and red glitter card. The heart border is by martha stewart . The sticky ribbon was from paper mania out of a docrafts pack. Gems and pearls from hobbycraft.
The sentiment is a peel off i put on card then cut round and the hearts where off the same peel off sheet.

DT post for Just Inspirational monthly challenge

This months challenge is new beginnings and the sponsor is Bunny zoe's crafts. The image i have used is by Digital delights and is called Little Dumpling New year baby. The background paper i printed off a crafters companion cd. The snowman. The snowflakes were cut out with my new marianne die i got for christmas thanks to one of my sons. Colored with Graphit markers, gems from hobbycraft and the sentiment was cut off a free paper that came in the making cards magazine a while back.
