Fairy Princess

This cutie image is from Polly craft who i have just discovered, their images are just so cute, i thought as October is for breast cancer i would go with the theme of pink, my granddaughters favorite color.. I have colored with promarkers, used cosmic shimmer glitter on her wings, socks frill of her dress and wand. The cut out border is a Martha Stewart one and the fern is a punch. The roses are from Dainty supplies as was the heart buckle on the bow. Gems from hobby-craft. Backing papers are from Nancy Watt and hunkydory. The little frog is actually off a whimsy digi stamp. Finally finished off with a princess crown charm. The sketch i followed is from sketchy colors

Game on

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend, the weather has been lovely, foggy to start with then glorious sunshine, long may it last.
The image on the card is by Mo Manning called game on 2. I have tried to keep very simple and not to much fuss as the card is for my oldest son from his brother. I decided to give the sewing machine an airing only to get frustrated when the spool ran out which i had to re load then problems trying to thread the needle, now i know why it doesn't come out very often. The backing papers are from Nancy Watt but the striped card is a Dawn Bibby design from Kanban. Coloured with promarkers. Buttons from craftroom stash. Nailheads are from Mark Richards. And finally i followed a sketch from Sweet Sunday.

Great News

I am so excited i have been asked to join the Just Inspirational challenges monthly Dt team. I am just about to start my first card for them for the 1st October challenge. I really feel like i have a real purpose with my new Dt teams and guest dt teams in my crafting and feel as if i am now going somewhere. Many thanks for choosing me.

Patchwork Pattie tag

This is my first tag . Took me longer to make this than a card, wanted it really girly as i am going to put it on my granddaughters present, she loves flowers and is a really girly 5 yr old. Like everything else there is no right and wrong its how we all inter prate things we see.

I have used a Sherri Baldy image called patchwork pattie from the besties range. I never get sick of using these gorgeous images. Coloured with promarkers. There are die cuts from memory box,

cheerylynn, and Marianne designs and a couple i have taken out of packets and put into a magnetic folder and of course forgot who they are by, wonder if its just me that does that.

Chloe sitting under heart tree

These 2 images are from Pink gem, they are another pair of stamps that really go well together. I have used nestabilities large scalloped octagons to cut the image and the pink border with. The corners i used Nellies multi frames and cut in half. Coloured with promarkers, the backing paper was free out of a magazine. The ribbon and small roses out of craftroom stash as are the tiny gems

Tractor Ted

This cutie image is from Di's digi stamps, i cannot believe how the tiny bit pink i put on his cheeks has shown up you can hardly see it on the card. The card is from hunkydory, i made use of the leaves and cut round them so i could use them to hold the picture in place. The actual card is kraft card then a layer of cream and one of brown. The striped paper is by Nancy watt. The leaves are cut with a personal impressions maple leaf punch. Die cut from spellbinder. Finished off with with twine and a button. Coloured with promarkers.

Happy Christmas

My Dt card for Brown sugar. Shades of Brown

This is my first Dt card as becoming a member of the brown sugar team. This week we are sponsored by bugaboo stamps The theme this week is shades of brown so pop over to the Brown sugar challenges and have a go brown sugar shades of brown challenge

Bride and groom dancing

A great image from Mo Manning called bride and groom dancing, i have made the card for a friends daughter who is getting married soon, i have included the pink as that is the theme at the wedding, i wanted it to have a romantic feel to it. I distressed around the image with antique linen and the heart as the dress is ivory. The gorgeous lace and bead work was a piece i bought to go on a dress for a wedding, the wedding didn't take place so it was never used just waiting for the right opportunity to use it. All the backing papers were out of an old issue of making cards. I used an open wild rose and two tea roses from wild orchid crafts. The 3 tiny closed pink roses from hobbycraft and all the other bits from dainty supplies.

Pearl sea kissed mermaid

A sweet digi image from Lacy Sunshine, i'm not usually into mermaids much but i think she is rather sweet. The two background sheets are from a set i had from hunkydory, which i though worked well as one had sand and shells on and the other waves. I colors with promarkers. I cut her out into an oval distressed the edges with broken china distress ink and added her to the frame, i also distressed the edges of the frame with antique linen. I used a clear glitter glue with gorgeous iridescent glitter in to paint on her hair and her tail but it does not really show up on the photo. the weeds are painted with sakura glitter pens. I added heart jewels on the  heart to give a bit of bling and pearl and shells to go with the theme.

Sakura Tilda

A gorgeous Tilda stamp called sakura tilda from the special moments collection. I have colored with promarkers and followed the sketch from Sunday sketch and stamp. The sketch was designed by Berit.
The backing yellow was a free paper out of a magazine, the pink is from kanban. Flowers and rose ribbon from Dainty supplies. Flowers from hobbycraft as well as the gems. Pink border is a marther stewart one called modern garland. I also glittered the flowers tilda is holding.

Pink Haze

Another gorgeous image from Sherri Baldy Besties range. Image no 726. Colored with promarkers and some highlights in the hair with a glitter pen. The pink background card which is attached to a 7" card is from Hunkeydory. The big doiley is cut out on my craft robo. Memory box La rue florish is behind the bow and the memory box bella bouquet are the brown flowers. Flowers are from wild orchid, open rose, 30mm wild roses and baby pink orchids. Banana Pie

Another one of Sherri Baldy images called Banana Pie. The little girl i have made it for is mad on handbags so was asked if it could have one somewhere on the card. I have colored the berries in the basket with glitter pens to make them look like blackberry's which are lovely and ripe at the moment in out part of the world. . The heart doily is from ribbon box but all the rest are oddments from mixed bags i bought off ebay, i would dearly love to own some more myself but they are so expensive and crafting on a budget does not allow I'm afraid. The flowers are from Hobbycraft the feather i have left over from when i used to decorate cakes. The ribbon is out of a christmas paper set i bought many years ago.

chloe christmas card

The two images i have used are from pink gem, Chloe with reindeer and winter fence, i think they really work great together. I coloured both images then cut out chloe and the reindeer plus an extra head of the reindeer so i could 3d them. Added flower soft snow and glitter to the two images. I coloured with promarkers. I decided i wanted some of the pine trees showing green instead of all snow. The backing papers are by dove craft, finished off with brads and a lovely ribbon which came with christmas paper pack years ago. The large snow flake was a kit i got at a craft fair from diane's die cuts.

Happy Birthday

The image is from the Molly Bloom Birthday Parade set, i think he is a cutie. Kept the card really plain and simple, followed a sketch from 4 Krafty chicks. I used my Woodware craft cutter to cut the border, coloured the image with promarkers. The ribbon around the image is from create and craft and the pearls from dove craft.
I lady asked me to do a very plain card for a little boys birthday, she wanted no fuss on the card and something flat which would post easily so this is what i came up with. A lot of people have said the past few weeks well i would have bought that card but it is too bulky to post, hears me thinking i have finally given in and done cards lately with flowers on that stick out and need to be in boxes, never mind you carn't please everybody.

Luna Moon Flower

Great little image by Lacy sunshine, image called luna moon flower, i only found their site by accident, i love their sweet little images. The backing paper is one out of a scrapbook i had many years ago and am on to the last few pages and of course the front is now missing so cannot tell you who by. The lily flowers which i have shaded the edges of are  from wild orchid crafts. I have used fancy fibers behind them, pearls and gems are from hobbycraft. The gorgeous cut out die is from Mariann designs and the little cut out hearts i think are part of the Tilda rang of dies. Printed my own sentiment out.

Well good morning everybody it is defiantly turning chilly in my part of the world, Autumn is here.
well to go onto this card the image is by Chrissy Armstrong from whimsey stamps, isnt he just adorable. I have followed a sketch from Just us girls which i like for its simplicity as it takes nothing away from the image. Harry's Birthday card

Birthday card i have made for my grandson, it says special nephew as my other son wanted a card making. I have used a great image by Mo Manning called Fixer Boy, he is so like Harry so very appropriate. The backing paper is from a crafters companion cd called occupations. The tool box i found in the bottom of one of my boxes so have no idea where it came from. The corners i have used a mixture  of tool brads. Finished off with papermania nail heads. Colored with promarkers. i used this image about 6 months ago, but feel i have colored it much better this time.

Baby girl in pram

This cutie image is from pink gem, i wanted to have a mixture of lilac and pink instead of just pink. I printed two images so i could cut the babys head and bib out to decoupage just to add a bit of depth. I found the teddy ribbon in my stash and could not resist but to use it. One of the backing papers is from Nana's Nursery pad and the other is a sheet i bought seperate called little friends by sandylion. The gems are from Dove craft, flowers from hobby craft lace and ribbon bought at dainty supplies. Sentiment from craftwork cards. And finally colored with promarkers.

Elisha's 8th Birthday

I have made this card for my great niece who will be 8 next month, she is a very girly girl. I cannot believe it has taken me all day to put together, but it is only a week since i had surgery so finding being sore and not being able to lift or stretch was taking its toll a bit, Anyway back to the card the image is no 726 from the Besties range by Sherri Baldy, i just think these images are just so cute. Look Ma

Great digi image from Mo Manning called Look Ma. I have kept this card really quite simple. Matted and layered onto plain coloured copier paper. Background deep blue sheet was from a scrapbook pad called from children to men but not sure who by as i am on the last few sheets.
Coloured with Promarkers, frame not sure who by as i bought a load already cut out from ebay. I added yellow and white twine one or two pearls and a happy 4th Birthday as i have made the card for my grandson. I have used antique linen distress ink around the main picture edges
